کشت هیدروپونیک چیست
پشم سنگ از مذاب مواد معدنی (بازالت) در دمای ۱۴۲۰ درجه سانتیگراد تولید میشود که باعث استریل شدن محیط و همچینین غیر آلی بودن آن، امکان هیچگونه آلودگی مثل بیماری رشد آفت و قارچ در آن فراهم نخواهدکرد. از مزایای کشت هیدروپونیک با پشم سنگ می توان به نکات ذیل اشاره کرد: به دلیل تخلخل پشم سنگ نسبت به سایر بسترها ، میزان نفوذ اکسیژن افزایش می یابد که این امر موجب بهبود تهویه در محیط ریشه می گردد. همچنین پشم سنگ نسبت به سایر بسترها میزان جذب آب وحفظ رطوبت بالاتری دارد که این خاصیت تاثیر بسزایی در صرف جویی مصرف آب دارد که در شرابط فعلی کشور، در حال تجربه مشکلات جدی آب است. خشک‌سالی‌های مکرر توأم با برداشت بیش از حد آب‌های سطحی و زیرزمینی از طریق شبکه بزرگی از زیرساخت‌های هیدرولیکی و چاه‌های عمیق، وضعیت آب کشور را به سطح بحرانی رسانده‌است.
کاربرد کشت هیدروپونیک
افزایش روز افزون جمعیت جهان و محدودیت منابع آب و خاک جهت تولید محصولات کشاورزی و پرورش گیاهان، بشر را به فکر استفاده از این منابع کمیاب و ارزشمند انداخته است. از روش های مهم در این راستا، استفاده از کشت هیدروپونیک می باشد.هیدروپونیک یا آب کشت، از روش های خلاقانه ونوین تولید محصولات کشاورزی بدون خاک و با کم ترین نیاز به آب است که در آن تغذیه گیاه با استفاده از محلول غذایی صورت می گیرد.
